It is indicated for disharmony of the middle focus due to deficiency of the Spleen with accumulation of dampness, marked by: epigastric pain with a feeling of rapid satiety, lack of appetite, belching, loose stools or diarrhoea, sometimes vomiting, fatigue, pale tongue with a white coating, weak pulse.
