These Hoist Smokeless Moxa Rolls are made from heavily compacted moxa charcoal which allows them to burn slowly and emit a steady, gentle heat. Each roll is dense so allows for a burn rate of 4.5cm per hour. Ideal for clinic use.
Moxa charcoal
When moxa goes through a charcoal process, it’s baked and compacted. Unbaked moxa burns much more quickly and usually at a hotter temperature that’s less controllable. Thanks to the charcoal process, these rolls are slow, consistent burners.
