Everyone knows the advice of two ounces of vegetables and two pieces of fruit a day. In daily life, however, many do not always make it happen. That's where spirulina can provide a solution! After all, this blue-green algae is the world's most nutritious green food. Being a completely natural product, its nutrients are almost completely absorbed by the body. And the range of healthy substances is also so extensive that you could say it is the Multi of Mother Earth herself.

What's in spirulina?
Spirulina contains a broad spectrum of proteins where all the essential amino acids are represented. It is the richest natural source of beta-carotene and mixed carotenoids (including zeaxanthin) in the world. In addition, spirulina is a rich source of GLA (gamma-linolenic acid). In total, spirulina contains 9 important vitamins, including vitamins B1, B2, B3, vitamin E and vitamin K2. Moreover, it contains more than 11 minerals bound to 8 essential amino acids such as methionine and cysteine. Finally, it is rich in the antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD), as well as chlorophyll and phycocyanin, the colour pigments with which spirulina captures the valuable energy from the sun.

Growing conditions
Spirulina Organic comes from southern India. The production facilities are remote, far away from civilisation, agriculture, smoking factory chimneys and traffic. The growing conditions are ideal because of the clean air and soil, and the perfect climate (high temperatures, low humidity, little wind and rain). The tablets are also manufactured without any added additives, and therefore consist of 100% pure, organic spirulina.

Organic
The active ingredients of organic food supplements are guaranteed to be of natural origin and not synthetically manufactured. In addition, the environment, animals and people are taken into account as much as possible during production. Various regulations define what this means. Among other things, no chemical pesticides, artificial fertilisers or genetically modified organisms are used. The institute Skal Biocontrole checks whether the regulations are complied with and whether a product may be called organic. Organic products can be recognised by the code NL-BIO-01 and the European organic label.
